Where to park, which entrance is barrier free
Parking for worship and activities at First Presbyterian Church:
There is ample parking on evenings and weekends. Most people find the city lot on the east side of Wayne Street to be the most convenient. The entrance is near the center of the block, and it is a short walk from the parking lot to the entrances on Wayne Street. The double glass doors in the Christian Education building are adjacent to the elevator for barrier free access to the sanctuary. The wooden door on Wayne Street opens on a landing that leads up into the sanctuary or down into the dining room. The Wayne Street doors are the only ones open for meetings other than Sunday morning worship.

Some people prefer to enter through the main entrance doors facing West Huron Street. The East doors are open on Sunday mornings, and parking on city lots is allowed across from the church on the South side of Huron or next to the Oakland Press building on the North side of Huron.

Parking is at a premium Monday through Friday during business hours, but the city allows us to use their Wayne Street lot for special activities if we give them prior notice. If you see the "Church Parking" sign displayed, you may park there. If not, use the metered spaces along Wayne Street or the church owned lot on the corner of Wayne and Lafayette Streets.
